On the morning of January 16, 2024, four hundred Tet gifts, including necessities, were distributed to the workers at the headquarters of Saigon Port Stevedoring & Service JSC (SASTECO) located in Tan Thuan Dong Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
SASTECO is a flagship company of Saigon Port JSC (Saigon Port) with the mission of handling millions of tons of cargo annually through ports in HCM, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, and surrounding areas. Paying attention and giving care to the welfare of the workers have been a distinctive feature in the corporate culture of the company for a long time.
With the company’s brand reputation, the service quality provided by the workforce, and the dedication of General Director – Mr. Phan Le Dung and the leadership team, SASTECO has attracted numerous benefactors who have been accompanying, supporting, caring, and encouraging the workers for years.
A typical companion must include Tan Thuan Port (a branch of Saigon Port), a customer and also a traditional, significant partner that has consistently participated in support, full of camaraderie.
These gifts also received valuable contributions from Phuoc Tao Logistics JSC, a leading unit with years of experience in inland waterway transport by self-propelled barges in Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, and provinces in the Mekong Delta region.
It is known that four hundred Tet gifts were given to SASTECO workers and about two hundred workers, who are satellite partners contributing to the company in the field of exploitation last year, were also invited to receive these gratitude gifts.
In the coming days, SASTECO will transport these gifts along with Saigon Port Union’s Tet gifts to workers who are unable to receive due to labouring in remote provinces.
