On January 26, 2024, on the occasion of Lunar New Year, the Trade Union Standing Committee collaborated with the Youth Union of Saigon Port Joint Stock Company (Saigon Port) to organize a Welfare Day for union members from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the Saigon Port office campus.

This is one of the practical activities of the Trade Union and Youth Union of Saigon Port in a series of welfare activities. It creates opportunities for union members and workers to buy essential goods at preferential prices, helping them and their families have a prosperous life. This activity is supported and facilitated by the leadership of Saigon Port.

Each member of the Saigon Port Trade Union is supported with a shopping voucher (100.000 VND/voucher) to participate in the essential goods procurement program from units run by Ho Chi Minh City Business Sector Party Committee and some other businesses such as Vissan, Cholimex, Viet Hung Joint Stock Company (a member of the Viet Tien Corporation – VTEC), Binh Minh Garment Joint Stock Company, Chuong Duong Beverages Joint Stock Company, NhaBe Corporation, Vifon Noodles, Sabeco, and several other units with discount policies ranging from 10-50%. In addition, the Saigon Port Trade Union also offers many discounted lunch options for 25.000 VND/portion, including many attractive dishes such as coconut cake, dim sum, banh beo, sticky rice, macaroni, soup cake, …

Additionally, the event also featured a lucky draw with 10 randomly selected prizes for the participating union members. This festival brought joy and warmth to Saigon Port Trade Union members with a vibrant Tet market.
