HCMC – The towering cruise ship Spectrum of The Seas has brought nearly 4,500 international passengers to Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province for a visit to this southern coastal province and other popular destinations.
The cruise ship arrived at Tan Cang-Cai Mep port in Ba Ria-Vung Tau yesterday, February 20, allowing passengers to join tours to several destinations in the province and other neighboring localities, such as Dong Nai and HCMC.
Nearly 200 passengers chose sightseeing tours in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, exploring Vietnamese historical and cultural relics, and savoring local culinary delights.
On January 4 this year the Bahamas-flagged cruise ship carried nearly 4,400 international tourists to Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province.
The Cai Mep-Thi Vai port has welcomed 20 cruise ships with around 55,000 international tourist arrivals since the beginning of this year. The province expects to receive 25 more cruise ships this year, according to the local authorities.
