Introduction
Saigon – Hiep Phuoc Port Joint Stock Company is a subsidiary of Saigon Port JSC with a charter capital of 850 billion Vietnamese dongs, of which Saigon Port holds over 90% of the charter capital. Saigon – Hiep Phuoc Port JSC owns and operates the Saigon – Hiep Phuoc Port located in Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park, Nha Be District, with primary business activities being stevedoring and warehousing service.
Infrastructure:
– Total area: 36 hectares;
800-meter-long wharves (48.000m2), with a 6 tons/m2 capacity and capable of receiving vessels up to 50.000 DWT;
2 1.000-ton capacity berths and 2 300-ton capacity berths for barges;
2 buoys capable of receiving vessels up to 30.000 DWT;
The container yard covers an area of 3.3 hectares (6 runways for RTG). The general cargo yard spans 14.3 hectares, and other areas total 2.0 hectares;
Warehouse Number 1 and Number 2 have an area of 5.000 m2 and 4.000 m2, respectively. There will be another warehouse with an area of 8.000 m2.
Equipment:
- 3 rail-mounted gantry cranes with a lifting capacity of 30 tons and a reach of 28 meters.
- 4 weighing scales with a capacity of 80 tons.
- 3 hoppers with a capacity of 80 cubic meters.
- 6 hydraulic grabbers of sizes 15 m3 and 20 m3.
