In October and November 2025, severe storms together with prolonged heavy rain resulted in extensive flooding across several provinces in Central Vietnam, thereby directly affecting business operations, port activities, infrastructure and the livelihoods of employees at Quy Nhon Port.

On December 1, 2025, in a spirit of solidarity and compassion, the delegation of the Vietnam Seaports Association (VPA) and Saigon Port Joint Stock Company (Saigon Port), led by Mr. Huynh Van Cuong – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saigon Port and concurrently Chairman of the Vietnam Seaports Association – together with dedicated members of the Board of Directors, paid a visit to Quy Nhon Port to encourage and share with its leadership and employees the difficulties and losses caused by recent storms and flooding.

Furthermore, through this trip, Saigon Port affirmed the spirit of solidarity and cohesion within the VIMC family – a system that not only prioritizes operational efficiency but also upholds social responsibility and enduring human values. With a sense of duty and compassion at its core, Saigon Port seeks to spread this commitment across all units within VIMC, encouraging collective resilience to overcome challenges, fulfill assigned mandates and jointly pursue sustainable development in the time ahead.
