On January 26, 2026, at the 2026 Mission Deployment Conference organized by the Vietnam Maritime Corporation (VIMC), Saigon Port Joint Stock Company (Saigon Port) reaffirmed its position as it was honored among six units that successfully fulfilled VIMC’s assigned tasks, alongside several other awards recognizing outstanding collective and individual contributions in 2025. These accolades reflected the Company’s innovation efforts, strong sense of responsibility, and notable business performance over the past year.
At the awards ceremony, Mr. Huynh Van Cuong – Chairman of the Board of Directors, received the “Kaizen Gold – Innovation” award on behalf of Saigon Port. With more than 170 initiatives introduced in 2025, the Company demonstrated continuous efforts to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency. This recognition reflected Saigon Port’s proactive and innovative approach to management, contributing to improved service quality and more efficient operations.


Additionally, the “VIMC Lighthouse 2025” title was awarded to Mr. Nguyen Le Chon Tam – General Director of Saigon Port. The title recognizes leaders with strategic vision, inspirational influence, and a strong role in shaping management culture across the VIMC system. His recognition reflects significant contributions to the Company’s operations during a challenging year that required flexibility and resilient leadership.


Entering 2026, Saigon Port will continue to prioritize service quality improvement, technological innovation, and initiatives promotion, with a firm commitment to fulfilling VIMC’s assigned tasks.

Furthermore, in the spirit of strengthening internal cooperation, on January 27, 2026, the leadership of Saigon Port paid a working visit to Hai Phong Port as part of VIMC’s annual knowledge-sharing program. Discussions on operational practices, from the northern region to the southern market, helped both sides better understand regional characteristics, leverage their strengths, and expand management perspectives. As members of “VIMC family”, Saigon Port and Hai Phong Port consider knowledge sharing and mutual support essential to the sustainable development of Vietnam’s maritime ecosystem.
